Wormrōte: A Sigilist’s Primer

The idea comes from my love of making new alphabets, looking at other writing systems such as abjads, and an extension of my practice of sigilcraft which traces back to the occult work of Austin Osman Spare (if not further)

Wormrōte is a tidy zine containing art, lore, and practical language explanations – everything a curious learner could wish to know. That’s right, the sigils have meaning. The text – the graceful loops, the curves, the curls – all of it has meaning.

Want to read (and write! and pronounce!) the language that appears throughout Helvetica Blanc’s artwork? The magic woven into sigils? The script adorning the Wormsong Oracle? Perhaps you simply appreciate the care (and the mind) required to create a communication system from scratch.
