Rangers of a Broken World - PREORDER
These are PREORDER items. Estimated to ship by May 2027
The Cataclysm may have broken the world but now is the Age of Hope and Song.
The scars of war run deep. Noble Demons, Horrors, and Automata stalk the land. You are a Ranger, divinely appointed to protect the isolated pockets of humanity which remain.
Channel the power of your Deilith. Scatter your essence into the world to work magic, weaving together Signature Spell Notes from your past and from the land around you.
Rangers of a Broken World is a new tabletop roleplaying game by designer Leon Richardson. It takes inspiration from Final Fantasy X, the Xenoblade Chronicles, 90s fantasy anime in the vein of Magic Knight Rayearth, and more.
The rules are built for streamlined and inventive play: choose which facet your Ranger is employing, specify a skill, mark off part of your character's Key (or don't!) and roll the dice. Each 5 or 6 you roll is a success.
Magic is similarly flexible, inviting you to invoke your own Personal Spell Notes and harmonize them with notes found in the world around you to build powerful eldritch chords.
The vibe is post-apocalyptic fantasy, but you are not fragile scavengers tentatively probing the cruel wastes.
You play fully realized heroes: blessed, wounded, flawed, and dedicated to powering through desperate times. This is a game where the choices you make matter more than the items you carry in your backpack.
Do you hear the song ringing through the Old Rhimehold? The call of the wind whistling across the Goathome Veldt? The hum of the Starlight Archive?
Set aside your doubts and fears. A new Age awaits.
