Shipping Policy & Rates
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) went on a nationwide strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01am ET.
What this means for you:
- If you live in the US: your packages will still be arriving on time.
- If you live in Canada, we won't be able to ship using the untracked Lettermail option or any of the options offered by Canada Post (Expedited Parcel, Xpresspost, Priority). Please use the shipping method marked as Standard (10 CAD or above as lower rates are for Canada Post untracked Lettermail) at the Checkout. During the strike, we won't be able to send any packages to PO boxes or rural areas, so please bear that in mind when ordering.
- If you live outside of North America: We won't be able to ship any orders during the strike.
We will monitor this situation closely and keep you updated as soon as we learn more.
We believe that the postal office should remain public; we support our postal workers and hope that this will be resolved quickly, with the company agreeing to the fair demands of their workers.

1. WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?
Your order will be processed and shipped within 5 business days after being placed. We are always doing our best to make sure your order is sent as quickly as possible!
1. ORDER ADJUSTMENTS
Changes to existing orders can be made by emailing us at main@rattiincantati.com
Address changes must be made by us. Changing the information on your account will not change the order details on our end. You must email us if you need to update this information.
We may be unable to respond to and process order modification requests before the orders get shipped out so please try to give as much advance notice as possible if you are moving or changing addresses and have outstanding orders with us.
We are not responsible for customers entering incorrect/incomplete addresses. Should an item not be properly delivered due to an incomplete/incorrect address provided to us - we assume no responsibility for the loss incurred.
3. WHERE DO WE DELIVER?
ratti incantati is not a brick and mortar store so we can not offer local pick up at this time. We are shipping from Ontario, Canada using Canada Post and Chit Chats.
We ship anywhere within Canada, the United States of America, and the rest of the world.
4. SHIPPING RATES FOR ADDRESSES WITHIN CANADA
PARCEL RATES
Choosing our expedited shipping rates on orders delivered to addresses in Canada means that you never have to pay more than CAD $13.95 + tax for shipping.
If the value of your order meets or exceeds $165.00 before taxes and shipping charges, it will be eligible for free shipping.
ORDERS UNDER 500g
These orders are eligible to be shipped via Canada Post's Regular Letter Mail (we are using cardboard mailers). The rates range from CAD $4.19 to $6.47+tax. You can check Canada Post exact current rates by weight here.
Regular Letter Mail is NOT TRACKED and come with NO INSURANCE which means that all sales are final. Chances of Canada Post losing your mail are minimal, still - by choosing this option you understand the inherent risk that comes with it.
5. SHIPPING RATES FOR THE USA
We offer 3 shipping rates on orders being delivered to addresses in most continental states:
15 oz and under - 6.75 USD
15 to 65 oz - 13.25 USD
over 65 oz - 16.25 USD
If the value of your order meets or exceeds 200.00 CAD (a bit less than $150) before taxes and shipping charges, it will be eligible for free shipping.
While we cannot guarantee delivery times with USPS, parcels have so far been delivered within 7 working days of shipping.
We are not responsible for any potential customs, duties, or other fees incurred after the initial transaction has processed.
6. REST OF THE WORLD
We use Canada Post's International shipping rates.

7. OVERSIZED ORDERS, SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES OR REMOTE LOCATIONS
In certain extraneous cases, additional shipping charges may be required. In these situations you will be contacted to arrange payment. If you wish to cancel your order at this time we will offer a full refund.
8. SALES TAX
All orders are taxed according to your Province, Territory or State.
9. DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS
You can provide special delivery instructions in the notes section provided at checkout. If you have a last minute change/request or instructions which require special attention please contact us ASAP at main@rattiincantati.com
10. DAMAGED ITEMS
In the unfortunate event that you receive any damaged items in your parcel, please contact us at main@rattiincantati.com with your order number and a description of the problem. Please also provide a photo of the problem if possible.
If the parcel you receive is damaged please document that as well so that we can be reimbursed by the carrier. We will gladly exchange, return or discount any damaged items.
We are not liable for Stolen/Misplaced/Lost in Transit orders that have been marked as delivered. If you are concerned about theft/porch pirates please request card for pickup in the checkout notes.
11. ONLINE SALES RETURNS
Should you decide you do not want a product within 14 days of delivery or pick-up we will gladly offer a refund upon return of the product less any shipping costs incurred to us (whether free shipping or flat rate). The product must be in original condition, unopened and must arrive to us in that same condition. You will be responsible for any shipping costs associated with the return.
12. PRE-ORDERS
Orders containing Pre-Order items will be held until ALL products in the order have been released.
13. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
All orders are subject to product availability. If an item is not in stock/over sold when your order is placed, we will attempt to contact you and remove the item from your order. If this brings your order total below the minimum free shipping threshold we will still ship the rest of your order free of charge.
14. STORE CREDIT/GIFT CARD POLICY
Should Store Credit/Gift Card be issued to a customer for any reason (Buylist/Trade Submission, Alternative method of Full or Partial Refund of an order etc.) it is non-refundable and cannot be transferred or converted to another payment method or currency.
WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL AN ORDER FOR ANY REASON.
