The medicine is in the relationship.. an exploration of ethical wildcrafting
A mini zine to explore the idea of ethical wildcrafting via relating to plants and truly building relationships with them, rather than treating plants as resources to "use".
The goal of this zine is not to answer the question,
"Can I ethically wildharvest this plant?"
... but rather to replace that question with a constellation of more nuanced questions. The hope for this zine is to help teach that plants exist in a deep, complex network of relationships, that the relationship you want to have with a plant is just one thread, but also that the relationship you want to have with your plant ally is itself a medicine, whether or not you harvest the plant.
