Unspeakable horrors crawling up from the Plains of Death every night have terrified the Zaresighan people long enough. The loss of the plains has been devastating for their agriculture and for their religious needs, as the sacred grounds have been defiled by necromancy. This has to end.
Under torn banners, the worn-out soldiers arm themselves with steel and courage. The necromancer and his vile creatures shall be destroyed once and for all, so that the once-fertile plains will live and give life again. The sacred grounds shall be purified.
The Zaresighan people will prevail.
