It takes inspiration from Final Fantasy X, the Xenoblade Chronicles, 90s fantasy anime in the vein of Magic Knight Rayearth, and more.

The rules are built for streamlined and inventive play: choose which facet your Ranger is employing, specify a skill, mark off part of your character's Key (or don't!) and roll the dice. Each 5 or 6 you roll is a success.

Magic is similarly flexible, inviting you to invoke your own Personal Spell Notes and harmonize them with notes found in the world around you to build powerful eldritch chords.

The vibe is post-apocalyptic fantasy, but you are not fragile scavengers tentatively probing the cruel wastes.

You play fully realized heroes: blessed, wounded, flawed, and dedicated to powering through desperate times.
